Ashley Rowlands
Ashley Rowlands has worked extensively in secondary, further and higher sectors of education since joining the profession in 1976, having held senior management positions within several colleges over a period of 17 years. He has also been Principal of a private language college.
Since 1991 when he first set up an international department at Bournemouth and Poole College, generating a business of over £1 million over five years, he has held several posts of responsibility at national level within the Education sector, particularly in the international field.
These have included a spell of 14 years on the Board of UKCOSA, three years on the Board of Directors of the British Council Education Counselling Service, and member of the International Committee of the Association of Colleges. He has extensive experience in international project management both in the UK and overseas.
Until recently he was on the Board of English-UK, and an adviser on further education to the British Council. Ashley is advising on the Board at the London College of Arts.
