Brian is a very successful leader with over 35 years work in the UK university sector. He has the ability to manage and motivate staff both individually and as a team, with over 20 years’ experience of managing academic higher education teams of 35-50 staff.

He has the ability to adapt communication style to suit target audience, be they students, commercial partners, academic providers or government agencies and has the ability to recognise educational commercial opportunities and convert them into commercial reality.

Brian has successful experience in negotiating at board level with external clients and agencies, and to construct contractual frameworks with UK and overseas partners and manage the iterative process both with partners and legal advisors.

Brian is in the advisory board at the London College of Arts.
